The MCR8SDG, MCR8SMG, and MCR8SNG are sensitive gate silicon controlled rectifiers designed for half-wave AC control applications. Their sensitive gate allows triggering by microcontrollers and other logic circuits. These devices offer blocking voltages up to 800V, an on-state current rating of 8A RMS at 80C, and high surge current capability. They are housed in a rugged, economical TO-220AB package with glass-passivated junctions for reliability. Designed for applications such as motor controls, heating controls, and power supplies where half-wave, silicon gate-controlled devices are needed. These are Pb-Free devices.
