Designed for full-wave AC control applications, these Triacs are silicon bidirectional thyristors suitable for motor controls, heating controls, or dimmers. They offer uniform gate trigger currents in three quadrants, high commutating di/dt and immunity to dv/dt at 125C, minimizing the need for snubber networks. With blocking voltages up to 800V and an on-state current rating of 12A RMS, they provide high surge current capability and are housed in an industry-standard TO-220AB package. Glass passivated junctions ensure reliability and uniformity. These devices are Pb-free and RoHS compliant.
