The Sxx08x SCR series is designed for uni-directional switch applications, including phase control, heating, motor speed controls, converters/rectifiers, and capacitive discharge ignitions. These SCRs feature a low gate current trigger level, with a sensitive version offering a gate trigger current below 500A, making it ideal for triggering by sense coils, proximity switches, and microprocessors. They are halogen-free and RoHS-compliant, with voltage capabilities up to 1000V and surge capabilities up to 100A.
