The Skyworks SMV1801-079LF is a silicon hyperabrupt junction varactor diode designed for battery-operated wireless systems. It features a high capacitance ratio and low series resistance, making it suitable for low phase noise Voltage-Controlled Oscillators (VCOs) operating at frequencies up to and above 2.5 GHz. Key applications include low-noise and wideband UHF and VHF VCOs for GSM, PCS, CDMA, and analog phones. This varactor is provided in an ultra-small SC-79 package and is rated MSL1 at 260 C.
