It features low-series resistance and a high-capacitance ratio, making it suitable for low phase-noise voltage-controlled oscillators (VCOs) operating at frequencies up to and above 2.5 GHz. Applications include low-noise and wideband UHF and VHF VCOs for GSM, PCS, CDMA, and analog phones. The device is packaged in an ultra-small SC-79 package and is rated to Moisture Sensitivity Level 1 (MSL1) at 260 C.
