The ULN2003 and ULN2004 are high voltage, high current Darlington arrays, each containing seven open-collector Darlington pairs with common emitters. These versatile devices are designed to drive a wide range of loads including solenoids, relays, DC motors, LED displays, filament lamps, thermal printheads, and high power buffers. With integrated suppression diodes for inductive load driving and inputs pinned opposite outputs for simplified board layout, they offer compatibility with common logic families such as 5V TTL and CMOS for the ULN2003, and 6-15V CMOS and PMOS for the ULN2004.
