The ULN2003 is a monolithic high-voltage, high-current Darlington transistor array. It internally contains seven independent Darlington drive channels, each with a freewheeling diode for inductive loads like relays and stepper motors. Each Darlington pair can output up to 500mA, with parallel channels offering higher current capability. This array is widely used for relay driving, lighting, LED displays, stepper motors, and as logic buffers. Each channel includes a 2.7K base resistor, allowing direct connection to TTL/CMOS circuits at 5V, simplifying signal processing.
