The ULN2803 is an octal high voltage, high current Darlington transistor array designed to interface low-level digital logic circuitry (TTL, CMOS, PMOS/NMOS) with higher current/voltage loads such as lamps, relays, and printer hammers. It features open-collector outputs and integrated free-wheeling clamp diodes for transient suppression. The ULN2803 is optimized for compatibility with standard TTL families.
