Introduction about autoclave
An autoclave is a pressurized device dedicated to achieving sterilization through the application of saturated steam. The principle leverages the fact that moist heat is more efficient at killing microbes than dry heat at the same temperature. By operating at pressures of 15-30 psi, steam temperatures of 121°C to 134°C are readily achieved and maintained.
