The +GF+ Signet 3‑2551‑V1‑11 is a blind (no‑display) insertion‑style magnetic flow sensor—part of the Signet 2551 Magmeter family—built for continuous, non‑intrusive flow measurement of conductive fluids in full pipes. Wetted materials are PVDF with Hastelloy‑C electrodes/grounding ring and FKM (Viton) O‑rings, giving strong chemical resistance for aggressive media. Key parameters: flow range 0.05–10 m/s (bi‑directional), linearity ±1% reading +0.1% FS, repeatability ±0.5% reading @ 25 °C, minimum conductivity 20 µS/cm, enclosure NEMA 4X / IP65, and power 5–26.4 VDC for its frequency (open‑collector) or digital S³L output mode. It mounts via standard Signet insertion fittings for pipe sizes DN125–DN200 (5–8") and feeds flow rate into Signet transmitters/controllers (9900 / 8900 / 9950) or directly to PLC/SCADA via frequency input.
Its core automation function is to deliver a stable, isolated flow signal (frequency pulse or S³L digital) so the control system can run pump interlocks, dosing proportional to flow, batch totalization, and leak/fault protection without adding pressure drop or mechanical wear. Typical uses include chemical processing, water/wastewater monitoring, scrubber/neutralization loops, metal recovery, and industrial water distribution where the liquid is conductive and corrosion resistance matters. Advantages come from the no‑moving‑parts, insertion design (easy install/retrofit), empty‑pipe detection with zero‑flow behavior when not wetted, and a chemically tough PVDF/Hastelloy‑C wetted path—making it a low‑maintenance, long‑term workhorse for harsh, 24/7 process environments.
