The +GF+ Signet 3‑8050‑2 is a junction box / wiring chamber with the patented EasyCal® access port, designed to house and terminate pH/ORP smart sensor electronics (such as the 3‑2751 series) when a 4–20 mA analog loop output is required instead of digital S³L. It mounts via the 3‑8050 universal mounting base system for field installation on pipes, walls, or tank surfaces. Key attributes include a transparent NEMA 4X / IP65‑rated enclosure with conduit knockouts, barrier terminal strips for loop wiring, and a sealed EasyCal port that lets technicians trigger calibration without opening the lid or pulling the sensor from the process.
Its core function is to serve as the local termination and calibration access point in a pH/ORP loop—converting the smart sensor's conditioned signal into a plant-standard 4–20 mA that feeds directly into a PLC/DCS analog input, while keeping the electronics protected in harsh, washdown, or outdoor environments. Typical use cases include wastewater neutralization, scrubber pH control, chemical dosing skids, effluent monitoring, and swimming-pool/water-park treatment where sensors are submerged or inline and frequent calibration is required. The EasyCal advantage means less downtime: you perform two-point calibration through the sealed port, maintaining the NEMA 4X seal integrity and avoiding exposure of sensitive electronics—critical for compliance-driven and 24/7 processes.
