The 3-9900.395 is a field-installable Modbus RS485 module that slots into a Signet 9900-1P base unit, enabling Modbus RTU connectivity to expose the measurement value, relay states, 4-20 mA loop status, and alarm flags to a PLC/SCADA network.
It enables PLC/SCADA systems to pull single-channel data (flow, pH, conductivity, level, pressure, DO, temperature) from a 9900 transmitter across various applications including RO/DI skids, chemical dosing, wastewater treatment, and cooling towers. No additional gateway is required—simply daisy-chain into the plant Modbus network alongside other 9900/9950/Multi-Mag nodes. Ideal for applications requiring remote monitoring and alarm pickup without rewiring the 4-20 mA loop.
