The +GF+ Signet 3‑8050‑2 is a NEMA 4X / IP65-rated junction box with the patented EasyCal® access port, designed to house and terminate pH/ORP smart sensor electronics (such as the 3‑2751 series) when a 4–20 mA analog loop output is required instead of digital S³L. It contains barrier terminal blocks for loop wiring and sensor cable extension, a transparent cover for visual checks, and conduit knockouts for clean in/out penetrations. Key parameters: polycarbonate/PBT rugged enclosure, –10 to +70 °C ambient rating, and ¾″ NPT sensor entry — mounts to wall, pipe, or tank via the companion 3‑8050 universal mount base.
Its core function is to act as the local sealed termination and calibration access point in a pH/ORP loop — converting the smart sensor's conditioned signal into a plant-standard isolated 4–20 mA that feeds directly into a PLC/DCS analog input, while keeping electronics protected in washdown or outdoor environments. Typical uses include wastewater neutralization, scrubber pH control, chemical dosing skids, and effluent monitoring where sensors are submerged or inline. The EasyCal advantage is decisive: technicians trigger two-point calibration through the sealed port without opening the lid — preserving NEMA 4X integrity, avoiding moisture/arc-flash exposure, and cutting calibration downtime in 24/7 processes.
