HF-Resistant Bulb-Type pH Electrode with DryLoc® Sealed Interface
The +GF+ Signet 3‑2726‑HF‑10 is a spherical (bulb-type) industrial pH sensor electrode purpose-built for aggressive media containing trace hydrofluoric acid (≤2%, pH ≤6). Its Ryton® (PPS) body and HF-resistant glass membrane deliver broad chemical resistance, while the 3 kΩ Balco thermistor provides automatic temperature compensation. The patented DryLoc® connector with gold-plated contacts creates a sealed, corrosion-proof link to the mating Signet 2760 preamplifier for conditioned signal output.
Process Role — Installation, Use Cases & Automation Function
Rated for 10–80 °C and up to 6.89 bar, it mounts at any angle into standard DN15–DN100 (½–4″) pipe tees via its ¾″ NPT thread. The electrode continuously monitors pH in wastewater neutralization, scrubber control, effluent discharge, and chemical dosing loops, feeding compensated signals through the preamp/transmitter chain to the PLC/DCS for real-time dosing control, alarm interlocks, and environmental compliance logging.
