The ‑P0 material set specifies a glass‑filled polypropylene body, black PVDF rotor, titanium pin, and FKM (Viton) O‑rings for solid chemical resistance at a cost‑effective price point. Key parameters: flow range 0.1–6 m/s (0.3–20 ft/s), linearity ±1% FS, repeatability ±0.5% FS, minimum Reynolds 4500, and a 100 ms system response time. The "5" output code delivers a native Digital (S³L — Serial Sensor Link) signal that connects directly to Signet 8900 multi‑parameter controllers (up to six 2537 sensors on one bus), 9900, or 9950 transmitters without extra signal conditioning.
Its core function is to provide a high‑resolution, digitally noise‑immune flow signal so the control layer can execute pump‑protection interlocks, flow‑proportional dosing, filtration monitoring, tank‑fill logic, and totalized batch accounting—always for conductive or non‑conductive full‑pipe liquids (no minimum conductivity requirement, unlike magmeters). Typical deployments include chemical processing, water/wastewater monitoring, RO/DI make‑up, scrubber recirculation, cooling‑tower bleed, and metal‑finishing rinse loops.
