The MTL 5553 is a purpose-built isolator/power supply engineered to extend 31.25 kbit/s H1 fieldbus networks into Zone 0/IECEx Zone 0 hazardous areas, ensuring seamless integration of smart field devices with control systems. With a 18.4V±2% regulated output and 80mA maximum current capacity, it delivers stable power and bidirectional communication to devices like transmitters, valves, and sensors through a single pair of signal conductors. Its intrinsic safety certification (ATEX/IECEx IIC T4-T6) guarantees compliance in explosive gas environments, while the internal terminator switch eliminates the need for external components in short-bus installations.
