Wilcoxon's 4-20 mA Loop Powered Sensors (LPS) are self-contained vibration transmitters designed to integrate directly with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) or Distributed Control Systems (DCS). This capability allows plant personnel to input vibration information directly into their control systems, enabling continuous monitoring of critical machinery, trending of overall vibration data, correlation with plant operating conditions, and proactive scheduling of maintenance tasks. LPS transducers provide a simple, reliable, and cost-effective means to monitor machine health, prevent failures, and support Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) programs, even in the absence of dedicated vibration analysis technicians.
