The PC420A-IS series are intrinsically safe, 4-20 mA loop-powered sensors designed for reliable operation in hazardous areas. These sensors offer true RMS or peak output and are easily integrated into existing process control systems. Manufactured in an ISO 9001 approved facility, they are certified for use in Class I, Div 1 Groups A, B, C, D T3C and II 1 G Ex ia IIC T4 Ga environments. Installation must comply with diagram 12779 for proper grounding of the safety barrier and connection to certified intrinsically safe equipment.
