The CHS1101/CHS1101LF capacitive humidity sensor utilizes a parallel plate capacitor principle, where the dielectric constant of the sensitive material is affected by the concentration of water molecules in the air. This results in a capacitance change (C) proportional to the relative humidity change (%RH). Employing a unique solid-state polymer sensitive material and thin-film microelectronic technology, it offers high sensitivity, good quality factor, rapid response, and a wide measurement range. The base and substrate are made of corrosion-resistant, high-temperature metal materials, with a patented nano-protective coating on the surface to enhance resistance to high temperatures, humidity, dust, and pollution. This makes it suitable for various industrial and civil applications requiring performance, batch consistency, and cost-effectiveness in relative humidity measurement.
