The ZMOD4510 Gas Sensor Platform is a 12-pin LGA module designed for detecting air quality, specifically targeting nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and ozone (O3) in various indoor and outdoor applications. It comprises a gas sense element with a metal-oxide (MOx) chemiresistor and a CMOS signal conditioning IC. The module utilizes advanced algorithms, including machine learning and embedded AI, to determine the Air Quality Index (AQI) based on detected gases. It offers selective ozone measurement in an ultra-low power mode and communicates results via an I2C interface. Its ultra-low operating current consumption makes it suitable for battery-powered applications.
