The MT6826S is a next-generation magnetic angle encoder IC from MagnTek, leveraging advanced Anisotropic Magnetoresistance (AMR) technology for high-speed and high-precision absolute angle position detection. It offers a wide range of output interfaces including incremental ABZ, incremental UVW, PWM absolute value, and 4-wire SPI, making it a versatile replacement for traditional optical encoders. The IC features a convenient client-side automatic non-linear calibration mode, achieving <0.07 INL without complex data interaction. Operating across a wide temperature range of -40C to 125C, it is suitable for demanding industrial applications such as DC brushless motor control, servo motor control, and closed-loop stepper motor control.
