The MagnTek MT6701 is a Hall-based angle position encoder sensor designed for precise 0 to 360 angle sensing. It offers versatile output interfaces including I2C, SSI, ABZ, UVW, Analog/PWM, and a pushbutton function. With a maximum rotation speed of 55,000 RPM and low propagation delay, it is suitable for applications requiring high-speed and accurate position feedback. The MT6701 is user-programmable for incremental ABZ resolution (1-1024 PPR) and UVW output resolution (1-16 pole-pairs per revolution). It operates on a 3.3V to 5.0V power supply and is RoHS compliant. Key applications include robotics control, contactless knobs, and contactless potentiometers.
