The MagnTek MT6816 is a zero-latency magnetic angle position sensor IC that leverages advanced AMR technology for 0-360 full-range angle sensing. It offers a 14-bit core resolution and supports maximum rotation speeds of 25,000 RPM with an output propagation delay of less than 2 s. Designed for industrial applications, it operates within a temperature range of -40 to 125 and provides versatile output interfaces including ABZ, UVW, PWM, and SPI. The sensor is AECQ-100 qualified, making it suitable for demanding environments. Applications include absolute angle position sensing, BLDC motor control, servo motor control, stepping motor control, and as a replacement for optical encoders.
