The Piher HRPM Hall-Effect Rotary Position Sensor offers 360-degree absolute position feedback with an endless mechanical rotational angle and no dead band. It maintains position on power loss and features configurable electrical angles from 50 to 360 degrees. Designed for harsh environments, this cost-effective, non-contacting sensor utilizes a touchless concept with separate housings for electronics and a magnet, significantly increasing reliability and lifetime due to the absence of wear and tear from radial forces. Its fully sealed and flanged-mounted design ensures easy positioning and versatility, with options for bare or housed magnets, different pin-outs, and support for low and high-voltage power supplies. Applications span industrial, transportation, marine, and home/building automation sectors, including robotics, valve monitoring, steering wheel angle, pedal position, and HVAC systems.
