The ams AS5715R is an inductive high-speed angle position sensing IC designed for automotive applications. It utilizes inductive sensing technology combined with a customized coil system to measure target position with high speed and accuracy. The device is suitable for demanding applications like BLDC motor control, traction motors, and electronic power steering, offering flexible system configuration and robustness against magnetic stray fields. It is defined as SEooC (Safety Element out of Context) according to ISO26262 and is AEC-Q100 Grade 0 qualified.
