Installation Precautions
Only install on insulated cables, not bare wires or copper bars.
Verify cable temperature does not exceed 70C to prevent equipment damage due to aging or overload.
Ensure cables are not loose or have poor contact before installation.
Installation should only be performed by qualified personnel to prevent electric shock.
Install in a dry, clean location away from heat sources and strong electromagnetic fields, avoiding direct sunlight.
Consider ease of maintenance when selecting the installation location, typically within switch cabinets to protect from oil, dust, and corrosive gases.
Select the appropriate sensor model based on the cable size for snap-on installation.
Usage and Operation
Install the sensor on the cable at the monitoring point, ensuring the temperature sensor is in close contact with the cable.
Close the sensor securely.
The sensor enters normal operation when the circuit current exceeds the product's starting current, collecting and transmitting temperature, current, and other data wirelessly.
If the line is unloaded or the current is below the starting current, the sensor uses its internal battery to maintain operation.
The indicator light flashes once during wireless communication.
Data is uploaded via 433MHz wireless communication. Upload frequency is approximately every 180 seconds when powered by battery, and every 20 seconds when powered by the current transformer (configurable, minimum 10s).
Main uploaded data includes: Temperature, Current magnitude, Live status, Cable vibration status (optional).
Refer to the master station equipment's protocol for specific wireless communication data content and format.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
Indicator light not flashing after power-on: Low battery or waiting period (180s for battery power only). Check battery, wait if necessary.
Indicator light not flashing after reaching starting current: Measured current is below starting current. Ensure measured current exceeds the starting current.
Inaccurate data or 0 display: Temperature measurement issues (check electrode contact, ensure measurement is within range). Current measurement issues (check CT clamp tightness, ensure current is within measurement range).
Incorrect live status: Live detection electrode is too far from the cable. Check cable for power and electrode contact.
Slave station cannot communicate with concentrator: No grouping or communication link affected. Check grouping, metal shielding, antenna, distance, and obstacles.
Quality Assurance
The company provides free repair for non-human induced damages within 12 months of operation or 18 months of receipt. Damages due to improper installation, use, storage, exceeding operating conditions, human damage, or self-repair are not covered. Warranty period is limited to the specified free warranty years.
