The Littelfuse DRS-50 is a standard, normally open (Form A) high-power reed switch designed for demanding applications. It features a hermetically sealed contact, ensuring immunity to its external environment and preventing contamination. This switch is capable of handling high voltage and power switching up to 400Vdc at 2mA, with a current carrying capacity of 6A and a maximum power rating of 100W/VA. Its high insulation resistance (1010 ohms minimum) and low contact resistance (less than 100 milliohms) make it suitable for applications such as security systems, limit switching, industrial processes, and white goods. The DRS-50 offers a sensitivity range of 42-83 Ampere-Turns (AT) and is available in various AT ranges for specific needs.
