The Littelfuse DRS-50 is a standard, normally open (Form A) high-power reed switch designed for demanding applications. Featuring a hermetically sealed glass envelope, it offers protection from environmental factors and is capable of switching high voltages and power up to 400Vdc at 2mA, with a carry current of 6A and a maximum switching power of 100W/VA. Its high insulation resistance (1010 ohms minimum) and low contact resistance (less than 100 milliohms) ensure reliable performance. The DRS-50 is suitable for security systems, limit switching, industrial applications, and white goods, offering zero operating power for contact closure.
