The Littelfuse DRS-50 is a standard, normally open (Form A, SPST-NO) high-power reed switch designed for robust switching applications. It features a hermetically sealed glass envelope that protects the contacts from the external environment. Capable of switching high voltages up to 400Vdc and handling power up to 100W/VA, this switch is suitable for applications requiring high insulation resistance and low contact resistance. Its design allows for switching European mains voltage and requires zero operating power for contact closure. Common applications include security systems, limit switching, industrial automation, and white goods.
