The NTC Thermistor is a negative temperature coefficient resistor whose resistance decreases as ambient temperature increases. It is manufactured from 2 or 4 types of metal oxides (iron, nickel, cobalt, manganese, or copper) which are shaped and sintered at high temperatures. This thermistor is designed with a black coating and inwardly bent leads for specific applications.
