The KP200 is a PRO-SIL pressure sensor specifically designed for detecting pressure changes within a vehicle door during a side crash event. It provides a digital Manchester encoded output signal proportional to the relative pressure change (p/p0), ensuring that the signal height is independent of ambient pressure. This cost-optimized solution enables autonomous operation without additional logic ICs in the pressure satellite. The sensor is qualified for automotive applications according to AEC-Q100.
