The KP275 is a miniaturized Digital Absolute Pressure Sensor IC utilizing a capacitive principle. It integrates a monolithic signal conditioning circuit in BiCMOS technology and converts pressure into a 12-bit digital value transmitted via the SENT protocol (SAE J2716). The device also features an interface for an external NTC temperature sensor, digitizing its output into a 12-bit value for SENT transmission. Integrated diagnostic modes allow for testing of sensor cells and signal paths. Designed for robustness against iodine and condensates, it is suitable for harsh automotive applications like EGR, and offers high accuracy ( 0.77% FSS) and real 12-bit resolution for both pressure and temperature. Packaged in a green 8-pin SMD housing, it is automotive qualified and ideal for manifold air pressure measurement, industrial control, and consumer/medical applications.
