The MLX90809 is a fully integrated relative pressure sensor designed for automotive and industrial applications. It features a MEMS sensing element, analog front-end, a 16-bit microcontroller, and analog back-end circuitry, all within a robust, easy-to-seal package. The sensor offers high accuracy (+/-1.5%FSO) and provides either a ratiometric analog output or a digital SENT output. Its design ensures excellent automotive EMC performance and is qualified for demanding temperature ranges (-40C to 150C). Key advantages include factory calibration, programmability for customized curves, and advanced automotive diagnostic features such as clamping levels and broken track diagnostics. The back-side exposed sensor enhances resistance to common automotive media.
