The KP229E3518 is a miniaturized Analog Manifold Air Pressure Sensor IC utilizing a capacitive principle. It features surface micromachining with an integrated signal conditioning circuit in BiCMOS technology, converting pressure into an analog output signal. The calibrated transfer function maps a pressure range of 50 kPa to 400 kPa to a voltage range of 0.50 V to 4.50 V. This high-accuracy, high-sensitivity sensor is primarily developed for manifold air pressure measurement in automotive applications but is also suitable for industrial and consumer applications. Key features include a large temperature range, broken wire detection, and clamping.
