The Infineon KP226E3408 is a miniaturized analog absolute pressure sensor IC designed for high-precision pressure sensing. Utilizing a capacitive principle and surface micromachining with monolithic integrated signal conditioning, it converts pressure into a ratiometric analog output voltage. Its calibrated transfer function maps a pressure range of 15 kPa to 400 kPa to a voltage range of 0.35 V to 4.65 V. The sensor features a broad operating temperature range of -40 C to 140 C, broken wire detection, and clamping for simplified error detection. It is automotive qualified and suitable for applications in automotive (manifold air pressure measurement), industrial control, consumer, and medical sectors, offering high accuracy and sensitivity.
