The HG4930 is a micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS) based inertial measurement unit (IMU) designed for a wide range of applications including agriculture, AUVs, industrial equipment, robotics, survey/mapping, stabilized platforms, transportation, UAVs, and UGVs. It offers industry-standard communication interfaces for easy integration. Its extremely small size, light weight, and low power consumption make it ideal for most applications. The HG4930 includes MEMS gyroscopes and accelerometers and employs an internal environmental isolation system to attenuate unwanted inputs, ensuring ruggedness for demanding users. Honeywell screens and calibrates all MEMS inertial sensors used in the HG4930 IMU. Key advantages include world-class inertial sensor development, calibration and compensation, proven reliability, dependability, ruggedness, and it is a cost-effective replacement for a FOG. The HG4930 is not ITAR controlled with an Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) of 7A994.
