The TSOP22.., TSOP48.., TSOP24.. and TSOP44.. series are miniaturized IR receiver modules designed for infrared remote control systems. They integrate a PIN diode and a preamplifier on a lead frame, with an IR filter within the epoxy package. These modules offer improved immunity to HF, RF, and optical noise, low supply current, and an internal filter for PCM frequency. They are suitable for direct connection to microprocessors for decoding and are optimized to suppress spurious pulses from Wi-Fi and CFL sources. The TSOP24../TSOP44.. series is recommended for new designs due to its newer AGC4, while the TSOP22../TSOP48.. series is provided for compatibility with older AGC2 designs. These components are not qualified according to automotive specifications.
