The Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) Resistor is a thermistor whose resistance changes with ambient temperature. It is composed of 2 or 4 kinds of metal oxides (iron, nickel, cobalt, manganese, copper) shaped and sintered at high temperatures (1200 to 1500). Key features include small size, large power handling, strong inrush current suppression, fast response, high material constant (B value), low residual resistance, long life, high reliability, and a complete series with wide applications.
Applications: Switching power supplies, UPS power, electronic energy-saving lamps, electronic ballasts, electric heaters, RT displays, bulbs, and other lighting lamps.
