Slurry Electromagnetic Filter for Ceramic/Non-Metallic Minerals

I. Product Overview

The special slurry electromagnetic filter developed for kaolin, quartz, feldspar, ceramic glaze/blank slurries adopts the core technology of "electromagnetic excitation + high-gradient adsorption + automatic cleaning" to achieve efficient wet iron removal. It is specially designed for the ceramic and non-metallic mineral industries to improve material purity and reduce product defects. The equipment strongly adsorbs ferromagnetic and weakly magnetic impurities in the slurry through a strong magnetic field gradient. After adsorption saturation, it automatically completes the demagnetization, rinsing and impurity discharge process, supporting continuous operation. It adapts to the whole process needs of ceramic production lines from raw material purification to glaze treatment, helping to improve product whiteness and qualification rate.

II. Product Advantages

1. Improve Product Quality: Efficiently removes iron impurities in the slurry, significantly improves the whiteness of kaolin and quartz sand powder, reduces defects such as pinholes and black spots in ceramic products, and upgrades product grades.
2. Adapt to Continuous Production: The automatic cleaning and regeneration design eliminates the need for shutdown for impurity cleaning, perfectly adapting to continuous powder making and glazing production lines in the ceramic industry, and greatly improving production efficiency.

IV. Application Cases

Provided 8 kaolin slurry electromagnetic filters for a ceramic raw material processing plant, used in the kaolin purification process. After the equipment was put into use, the iron content of the kaolin slurry was reduced from 50ppm to below 5ppm, the whiteness of the material was increased by 8 percentage points, the black spot defect rate of ceramic blanks was reduced from 15% to 2%, the daily production capacity of the production line was increased by 20%, and there was no need to invest in manual impurity sorting, saving nearly 200,000 yuan in annual labor costs.

Q1: Can the equipment handle quartz sand slurries containing a large amount of hard particles?
A1: Yes. The magnetically permeable medium of the equipment adopts a high-density 430 stainless steel matrix with excellent wear resistance. At the same time, the flow channel design is optimized to avoid blockage by hard particles, adapting to the iron removal needs of quartz sand and other slurries containing hard particles.
Q2: How to improve the iron removal precision of ceramic glaze slurries?
A2: High-density magnetically permeable medium and multi-stage adsorption structure can be customized to increase magnetic field gradient and adsorption area. At the same time, the cleaning frequency is optimized to ensure the complete removal of micron-level iron impurities, meeting the high-purity requirements of glazes.
Q3: Does the equipment installation require modification of the existing production line?
A3: No large-scale modification is required. The equipment adopts a modular design, and the interface size can be customized according to the pipeline of the existing production line, supporting flange connection. The installation cycle is short and will not affect the original production plan.
