The Decanter Centrifuge for Quartz Powder Slurry Dewatering is designed for continuous quartz solids recovery, slurry thickening, filter-feed preparation, and process-water clarification.
It is suitable for quartz powder washing, wet grinding, classification overflow, silica sand processing, engineered-stone wastewater, and high-purity quartz production.
Quartz particles can quickly wear the feed accelerator, scroll flights, bowl beach, and solids-discharge ports.
Recommended protection may include:
The final protection material should match the required product-purity standard.
Ultrafine quartz and clay particles may remain suspended in the liquid.
Higher centrifugal force, stable feeding, and suitable slurry conditioning may improve recovery. When very clear water is required, polishing filtration may still be needed.
Quartz slurry can produce high conveyor torque, especially when the feed concentration changes suddenly.
An agitated buffer tank, flow-controlled pump, and automatic torque adjustment help prevent overload and unstable solids discharge.
For high-purity quartz, the internal material and wear-protection system must be selected carefully.

Quartz powder slurry enters the rotating bowl through a controlled feed pipe.
An agitated tank helps prevent particle settling and maintains a stable feed concentration.

The denser solids move outward and form a layer against the bowl wall, while clarified liquid remains closer to the center.
