Description
The PP 2-stage pusher centrifuge is a type of perforated basket centrifuge that provides both continuous and effective operation. The material to be processed is fed through a feeding pipe and evenly distributed into the first stage basket. Centrifugal force causes most of the mother liquor in the feed to depart through the sieves into the liquor-collecting casing, where it is then discharged from the machine. The first stage basket rotates and reciprocates, pushing the formed product cake into the second stage basket. The cake is slowed down by the centrifuge and is subjected to more centrifugal force, thereby ensuring that the desired humidity level of the cake is achieved. Afterward, the cake is continuously discharged from the basket. If the solid product requires high purity, effective washing can be carried out in the centrifuge. If necessary, the washing agent and the mother-liquor can be discharged separately.
