The Top Discharge Centrifuge is designed for batch washing, solid-liquid separation, and dewatering of filterable resin beads after polymerization, post-treatment, purification, or resin recovery.
Resin bead slurry may contain polymer beads, water or solvent, residual monomer, salts, reaction auxiliaries, soluble impurities, and fine bead fractions. The separation stage must retain the beads effectively, support thorough washing, reduce liquid carryover, and avoid unnecessary bead breakage during feeding and discharge.
This configuration is suitable for resin manufacturing, resin post-treatment, and batch bead washing processes. It is not intended to replace in-column regeneration of installed ion-exchange resin beds.
Peony provides the batch washing and dewatering section between upstream resin production or washing equipment and downstream drying, screening, storage, or packaging systems.

Peony can provide:
Resin bead slurry enters the rotating basket through a controlled feed system.
Water, solvent, mother liquor, or process liquid passes through the filter medium and basket perforations before leaving through the filtrate outlet.
The resin beads remain inside the basket while the liquid phase is discharged.
As feeding continues, the beads gradually form a stable and permeable cake layer on the inner basket wall.
Wash liquid can be introduced to reduce residual salts, monomer, reaction liquor, solvent, or soluble impurities retained between the resin beads.
The basket continues rotating to reduce free liquid retained in the resin bead cake.
After the programmed batch cycle is complete, the centrifuge stops and the top cover is opened.
The dewatered resin beads are discharged manually through the top opening and transferred to a collection bin, dryer, screen, curing section, storage bin, or packaging process.

The basket filtration system retains filterable resin beads while allowing wash liquor or process liquid to pass through the filter medium.
Optional washing can reduce residual salts, monomer, solvent, or process liquor before the resin beads move to downstream drying or packaging.
Filtration followed by spin drying helps lower the amount of free liquid retained in the bead cake.
Filter cloth or screen specification can be selected according to bead size, fines content, wash liquid, filtrate clarity target, and cleaning method.
The top-opening design allows convenient inspection of the basket, filter media, bead cake condition, and wash results between batches.
