The Bag Lifting Centrifuge is designed for batch recovery, washing, and dewatering of monosodium glutamate crystals after crystallization.
MSG crystal slurry contains product crystals, mother liquor, residual soluble impurities, and possible fine-crystal fractions. The separation stage must remove mother liquor efficiently while maintaining crystal quality, controlling washing loss, and supporting clean product collection before drying, screening, or packaging.
This configuration is suitable for food ingredient production lines where batch traceability, hygienic product handling, low product hold-up, and convenient filter media replacement are important.
Peony provides the batch separation section between MSG crystallization and downstream drying, screening, or packaging.
MSG Crystallizer → Slurry Holding Tank → Bag Lifting Centrifuge → Mother Liquor Collection / Recycle → Optional Cake Washing → Spin Drying → Filter Bag Lifting → Dryer / Screen / Packaging
Peony can provide:
MSG crystal slurry enters the rotating basket lined with a suitable filter bag.
Mother liquor passes through the filter bag and is collected through the filtrate outlet.
MSG crystals remain inside the filter bag while the liquid phase is discharged.
The retained crystals gradually form a stable filter cake inside the bag.
Compatible wash liquid can be introduced to reduce residual mother liquor, dissolved impurities, or color-bearing liquor retained between crystals.
The basket continues rotating to reduce free liquid retained in the MSG crystal cake.
After the programmed separation cycle is complete, the centrifuge stops and the top cover is opened.
The filter bag containing the dewatered MSG crystals is lifted out and transferred to a collection bin, dryer feed station, screening section, or packaging process.
