The Top Discharge Basket Centrifuge is designed for batch separation of filterable chemical precipitates generated in reaction, neutralization, purification, metal recovery, and wastewater treatment processes.
Unlike regular crystal slurry, chemical precipitates may contain fine particles, irregular particle shapes, variable solids concentration, and residual reaction liquid. The key challenge is not only removing liquid. The centrifuge must form a stable cake, maintain acceptable filtrate clarity, allow optional washing, and provide access for inspection and manual removal after each batch.
The top discharge design is suitable for small and medium batch processes where operators need to check cake condition, monitor filtration behavior, and clean the basket between different materials or reaction campaigns.
