Continuous Pusher Centrifuge For Edible Salt Dewatering
Description:
The Model PP-40 Two-stage Pusher Centrifuge is a type of centrifuge with a perforated basket that operates continuously and effectively. The mixture to be separated is fed through the feeding pipe and the distributor, and it is distributed evenly into the first-stage basket. The centrifugal force acts on most of the mother liquor in the feed, which is then separated through the sieves into the liquor-collecting casing, where it is discharged from the machine.
The first-stage basket rotates and reciprocates, pushing the formed product cake into the second-stage basket. The cake is subjected to more centrifugal force, which provides sufficient retardation in the centrifuge and guarantees the desired humidity of the cake. Afterward, the cake is continuously discharged out of the basket. If high purity is required for the solid product, effective washing can be carried out in the centrifuge.
If necessary, the washing agent and the mother-liquor can be discharged separately.
