The IC697ACC621 fan assemply is a rack fan assembly that has been introduced as an accessory into the Series 90-70 product line of PLCs by GE Fanuc Automation. This assembly is used to provide additional cooling to different racks within the series, especially to their connections and electronic parts. Overheating is one of the main causes of sudden stops during operation and of causing problems in systems that end up causing the damaged parts to need to be repaired or replaced. This rack fan assembly is meant to be attached to racks that are installed in places with little ventilation and that tend to become overheated. The GE Fanuc Automation IC697ACC621 rack fan assembly operates with a voltage of 120 Volts AC and an input power of 15 to 20 Watts for each fan at the same voltage.
The GE Fanuc Automation IC697ACC621 rack fan assembly is compatible with the 9-slot RX7i racks and with the 5-slot Series 90-70 racks. This assembly has a locked rotor current range of 0.24 to 0.34 Amps and it only weighs 4 pounds. This assembly includes 2 fans. The GE Fanuc Automation IC697ACC621 rack fan assembly comes with a polyurethane foam filter that is designed with 30 pores per square inch and a plastic UL94V-0 retainer and guard. The fan assembly has a low noise level when it operates and it uses ball bearings to achieve an extended operating life. The operating temperature range goes from 028 to 70 degrees Celsius. It is recommended to install this equipment in a clean place so that the filter will not become clogged.
