The IC660TBA021 terminal assembly is an RTD input block terminal assembly manufactured by GE Fanuc. It comes with 6 channels that are equally distributed with 2 circuits in a single group. It is a 24/48 Volts DC rated terminal assembly unit. The main function of the block that the IC660TBA021 terminal assembly hosts is to monitor the temperature level around a PLC. The input data from the block can be sent to the PLC's CPU in different units including degrees Fahrenheit, degrees Celsius, or counts. Some of the exclusive features in the block that can be configured are the alarm thresholds, RTD resistance, linearization, and the input filter time settings. An automatic diagnostics feature is available in the RTD block that detects and points to different faults and errors that might occur during operation and installation. It can give the users open wire, wiring error, input short detection, underrange, and overrange diagnostics.

The GE Fanuc IC660TBA021 terminal assembly is equipped with a multiplexer switch that can easily convert the input between the RTD input block and the internal reference of the resistors.
