Engineered for the extreme demands of hydroprocessing reactor feed services, this high speed centrifugal pump handles high-temperature, high-pressure hydrocarbon streams saturated with hydrogen gas. Hastelloy C-276 wetted metallurgy provides exceptional resistance to hydrogen embrittlement, high-temperature sulfidation, and naphthenic acid corrosion.

API 682 Dual Seal System: Tandem dry gas seal arrangement with intermediate labyrinth and nitrogen buffer prevents hydrogen leakage while the backup API Plan 54 liquid barrier provides failsafe containment.
Thermal Management: Warm-up bypass line, external casing insulation provision, and controlled cooldown procedure interlocks prevent thermal shock damage during startup and emergency shutdown.
Nelson Curve Compliance: Material selection follows API RP 941 Nelson Curves for hydrogen service, with conservative safety margins for long-term creep resistance.
High-Speed Pinion Monitoring: Proximity probes on both radial and thrust bearings with 4-20 mA outputs to plant DCS for continuous surveillance.
