Laser welding is an efficient and precise welding method that uses a high-energy density laser beam as a heat source.
Laser welding is one of the important aspects of laser material processing technology. The welding process belongs to the heat conduction type. The surface of the workpiece is heated by laser radiation, and the surface heat is diffused through the heat transfer tube. By controlling the width, energy, peak power and repetition frequency of the laser pulse, the workpiece is melted to form a specific molten pool.
Laser welding is a new type of welding method. Laser welding is mainly for the welding of thin-walled materials and precision parts, and can realize spot welding, butt welding, stitch welding, sealing welding, etc.
Laser welding machine fiber characteristics:
1. High aspect ratio, small weld width, small heat-affected zone, small deformation and fast welding speed.
2. The welding seam is smooth and beautiful, no treatment or simple process is required after welding.
3. The welding seam has high quality and no porosity, which can reduce and optimize the impurities in the base metal.
The microstructure can be refined after welding. The strength and toughness of the weld are at least equivalent to that of the base metal.
4. It can be precisely controlled, the focused light spot is small, the positioning accuracy is high, and it is easy to realize automation.
