ASTM B188-2002 C11000 pure copper (also known as red copper) generally has good electrical and thermal conductivity, corrosion resistance and machining properties, can be welded and brazed. Containing reduced electrical and thermal conductivity impurities less, trace oxygen has little effect on electrical and thermal conductivity and processing properties, but easy to cause "hydrogen disease", not in high temperature (such as >370℃) reducing atmosphere processing (annealing, welding, etc.) and use. Pure copper generally refers to a purity higher than 99.3% of industrial metal copper. C11000 has excellent cold and hot working performance. Mainly used as building materials, automobile radiator, gasket, radio parts.
ASTM B68 C10200Anaerobic copper is pure copper that does not contain oxygen and does not contain any deoxidizer residues. But it actually contains very small amounts of oxygen and some impurities. According to the standard provisions, the oxygen content is not more than 0.03%, the total content of impurities is not more than 0.05%, the purity of copper is greater than 99.95%.
C10200 has no hydrogen embrittlement, high conductivity, good machining and welding performance, corrosion resistance and low temperature performance.
C10200 plate strip is a key material in the electrovacuum industry. Electrovacuum devices such as high-power transmitter tube, magnetron, traveling wave tube, vacuum capacitor, vacuum switch, etc. all need to be brazed in hydrogen at 920 ℃. At this time, hydrogen and oxygen in copper will react Cu 2 O+H 2 → Cu+H 2 O. The resulting water vapor will lead to intergranular cracks in copper, which will lead to the leakage of vacuum parts
